The
following are the Team Officials for the Year 2008 - 2009.
These people hold "very" responsible
positions, and without their help the team would not be able to function and
attain the high standards that it does. The tour weekend positions have also
been included.
Thanks to All for their hard work....

Description
Simon
Captain
The Captain basically picks the side and decides
which player will play in which position. It is up to him to enforce the
team rules. (A copy of these can be found on the Rules and Regulations
page). He also has the responsibility of the "Toss". At the flip of a coin
the two opposing captains decide who will go first. Another very important
responsibility is to hold the kitty money on the Saturday night on tour.
Roger
Vice-Captain
The vice-captain
basically performs all the Captain's duties if for some reason the Captain
can't make it.
Colin
Treasurer
The treasurer basically
looks after all the financial aspects of the side. He Produces the team
accounts and pays and team related expenditure. He also pays the home
sticker from the proceeds from the lottery card. He also collects any team
player's savings for tour which are banked and looked after until Tour.
Mike
Secretary
The secretary deals
with all the paper work that has to be be done on behalf or the team. He is
the team representative and receives all information from the League. He
also takes the notes at our AGM.
Colin
Averages Recorder
The Averages recorder is the person who records
all players scores and produces "The averages" every week. This is our
internal competition to see who has performed the best over the whole
season.
Chris
Tour Organiser
The Tour Organiser is
the person who organises the tour weekend. He books the weekend, the venue,
collects the hotel money and makes sure that everyone pays their hotel bills
on time. Because of Chris's organisational skills, the tour weekend
always goes well.
Howard
Highest Score Payout
Fund
Howard collects 50p
(£6.00) from each playing person every week and runs the highest score
syndicate. The top score starts at 54 and is paid to anyone who achieves
that score or higher. If 2 or more players get that score then it is equally
divided. If no one gets that score the money is rolled forward to the next
week and the score is reduced by 1 and so on. Once the score is reached the
jackpot is paid out and the score is reset back to 54.
Gus
Fancy Dress Organiser
Organises the fancy
dress for the Saturday night on tour.
